1850 Christmas Dance
Celebrate 160 years of ministry!
Saturday, December 4th -- 6:30-8:30pm

Christ Episcopal Church opened on the Second Sunday of Advent in 1850 in downtown St. Paul. We've decided to celebrate 160 years of ministry in Minnesota with an 1850 Christmas dance, caroling and parlor games from the 19th century!

Members of the Living History Society of Minnesota (
http://www.lhsmn.org/) will be on hand, in 19th century period dress, to show us the dances and invite us to join in! We will have pictures and objects from the 1800s from our vault and will showcase items we use in our worship every Sunday that have been passed down to us from our 19th century ancestors.

What does one wear to a 21st century dance that celebrates the 1800s ... you decide! Our priest will be in period clothes dressed in a cassock, but everyone else is welcome to come in period dress, or in whatever clothes you would wear to a dance in the 21st century ... we only ask that you come prepared to enjoy the evening.

We are proud of our 160 years, and we want to celebrate them with the community. Please join us on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for this Christmas celebration!  Tickets are available at the door.  Call the Christ Church office with any questions:  651.735.8790.
